! Born in Groton, CT moved to Dutchess Co, NY. Purchased a whole share of the
Susquehanna Purchase and deed same to his sons: Aaron, James and William.
This deed was made in Beekman precinct, Dutchess Co, NY, and was witnessed by
his wife, Joanna, and son, Christopher, JR. When an old man he moved to the
Wyoming Valley (Luzerne Co, PA) wih some of the family but returned to Dutchess
Co, NY, where he died in 1777. (CEW)
Have 2 references that died: (1) Dutchess Co, NY (2) Wyoming Valley, Luzerne,
PA. Which is right? "The Aaron Stark Family" said "he removed to the Wyoming
Valley in 1772, where he is said to have died of old age in 1777."
Nov 1993, in LDS Archives, Salt Lake City, UT, saw that he was b 19 Jun 1698
(?) and d 1777, in Wyoming, Wyoming, NY (?).
