[1775] !BIRTH: The Germanna Record, #6, 1965, 2nd Germanna Colony of 1717, and in
#10, is the full history of the family, by John Connie Wilhite, Jr., p 45.
On May 6, 1729 he was freed from levies, indicating that he was at least a
middle-aged man, perhaps about 60 years, puts his birth about 1670.

[1776] !CHRISTENING: (update: 13 Sep 1995) Newsletters, BEYOND GERMANNA, Vol 1, #1,
Jan 1989, p 16 shows baptism date and place. See copy of map on p 3, in my
Blue Book "D" which shows Schwaigern, Wuerttemberg. See p 108, BEYOND GERMANNA,
vol 2, #5, for picture of Evangelical (Lutheran) Church in Schwaigern,
Wuerttemberg, church where he was christened, along with his twin brother.

[1777] !DEATH: Orange Co, VA, will book 2, page 87, was written in "parish of St.
Mark," was probated 26 Jun 1746, and names his children.

[1778] !NATURALIZED: Took out naturalization papers in May 1736, as John M. Wilhite,
(Brockman, "Orange Co Families," Vol I, p 57) and died in Orange Co in 1746.

[1779] !LAND GRANT: Michael was granted 289 acres adjoining George "Woode" (i.e., Utz)
28 Sep 1728 (Spotsylvania Co. Grants, Bk 14, p 113). On May 6, 1729 he was
freed from levies, indicating that he was at least a middle-aged man, perhaps
about 60 years, put his birth about 1670. See map of First Patents of Land in
Madison County, VA as of the year 1740 in my BL BK D with the full printout of
the family.

[1780] !NOTE: 1539 tax list, Schwaigern, there were Willheits but tracing ancestors is
difficult before 1600 when the church records begin. (BEYOND GERMANNA, v. 1,
#1.)
