!Buried in Fairview Cemetery, New Albany, IN.
Note: I, Gladys Mayme Crow, was named for her. Then I found in the Crow
family bible that her name was not Mayme but Mary, and they apparently called
her Mayme to distinguish her from her mother, Mary.
Article from New Albany, IN newspaper: Mrs. Mayme F. Newman, 67, died last
night at her home at a602 E. Market. Survivors, husband, Alonzo F. Newman;
son, Logan E., and sister, Mrs. W. H. Meadows of Lebanon Junction, KY. The
body is at the Kraft Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m.
tomorrow; burial, Fairview Cemetery." They omitted brother, Edward R. Crowe.
