!He and Hannah had 2 children. Leaving his wife & children in the care of her
father or brother, Colonel Elias Edgerton, he went to Nova Scotia abt 176-,
where he received a grant of land embracing the township of Cornwallis. Not
long afterwards he took ship at Halifax to return to CT and was never again
heard from.
