!Info given Edward R Crow by his Father's Sister, Melvina Newman, in the 1930's
of her father's brothers & sisters. She said "Polly" (probably Mary) was
married to Jim Fields.
In Nelson Co Genealogist, Mar 1986, Vol 2, p 70, Membeurship list for Mt.
Moriah Baptist Church, Old Boston, Nelson Co, KY, during years 1844 through
1857, is: Mary Fields. (Possibly "Polly") This church cemetery is where
many of the Crow family are buried, i.e., Melvina Newman's family, her father
Samuel's family (my gr-grandfather), her brother Henry H. Crow's family (my
grandfather), their brother, W.S. Crow, and others.
