!OCCUPATION: In the late 1920's, I remember him driving a coal truck from St.
Louis to pick up coal at Hardscrapple Coal Mine just about 5 blocks from where
we lived. He would be up there in line hours before they opened, so he would
be loaded early. Frequently, he would park the truck and walk down to our
house and eat breakfast with us. (GMG)
