!Walthall Burton's will shows grandson: Wilson Lutes, dau Polly Harned, dau
Betsey Lutes, & three children: Wilson, Sally and John, and son Wilson Burton.
Copy of will in FRBX #1, from Will Book E, pp 44 & 45, Nelson Co, KY, LDS
MF#481455. Will is dated 11 Jun 1823, witnessed by Mack Brewer, William Brewer,
William Caldwell. Walthal signed with his mark. Entered in court 17 Nov 1823.
Will shows 4 slaves valued at $400 each and 2 valued at $150 each, a total of
$1900 to go to son, Wilson. 2nd lot, 1 slave and her child $525, 1 slave @
$500, 1 @ $350, 1 @ $225, 1 @ $20, and 1 @ $150, total $2275, to go to
daughter, Polly Harned. 3rd lot, 1 & her child @ $500, 2 @ $400, 1 & her child
$ 350, 2 @ $200, and 1 @ $175, total $2225, to go to daughter Betsey Lutes and 3
children, namely Wilson, Sally and John. There is no mention of his wife,
Sally or daughter Susanna who married Raleigh Chinn, so they must have both
died before this date, and Susanna must not have left children. See Burton
